11/03/2005 - Arbitech Leaves Laguna for New Home in Irvine
Irvine, CA – Arbitech has moved into a 40,000 square foot distribution center in the Irvine Spectrum - quadrupling its sales and distribution capacity from the prior location in Laguna Beach.
With the added space, Arbitech is able to support its double digit growth by expanding its inventory and product focus beyond HP, IBM, Cisco, SUN and Kingston. Along with the distribution and general office expansion, Arbitech made a considerable investment into its configuration and testing facility, allowing for superior quality control, product consistency, and reliable turnaround times.
“We are excited to move into a larger and more efficient facility as it signals a new phase of Arbitech’s development,” states Josh McCarter, Arbitech’s COO who spearheaded the move to Irvine. McCarter elaborates, “One of the challenges was to maintain the family-team environment we created in Laguna Beach.”
To keep the free spirit and energy alive that so importantly thrived in Laguna, Arbitech infused the new building with inspiring memories of Laguna, including a beach themed cafeteria and a sports themed gym and game room. The strong emphasis on a fun work environment and team activities have been hallmarks of Arbitech’s employee benefits.
“Our new home means that we can offer our customers the benefits of a state-of-the-art distribution facility, and offer our employees the best workplace anywhere,” reiterates Doug Kari, Arbitech’s Exec Vice President.
