02/27/2006 - Arbitech announces Jim Binford as Vice President of Finance
Irvine, CA – Arbitech, LLC, the nation’s leading independent computer hardware distributor, today announced the addition of Jim Binford as their Vice President of Finance. Jim is a veteran of the computer hardware and components industry, bringing years of financial and executive management experience to Arbitech.
Jim served as President and CFO of American IC Exchange (AICE) where he began working in 1991. By 2001, Jim had grown the company to $200M in revenues and was instrumental in orchestrating the sale of the company to Vertical Net, a leading, public B2B technology provider. Since 2001, Jim has worked in several start-up organizations in a variety of senior management positions, most recently as President of EdgeFocus, Inc. Prior to starting his professional career, Jim excelled in education, receiving a double major in Business Economics and Political Science from Brown University and an MBA from USC.

Jim resides in Newport Beach, CA and when he isn’t working or further educating himself, he finds time to coach baseball and soccer for one of his three sons.
