Torin Pavia, Founder

Torin Pavia founded Arbitech, LLC in 2000. Over 18 years, Torin served as Arbitech’s CEO, Chairman of the Board, and now proudly holds the title of Chairman Emeritus. Torin wrote the Company’s business plan while a graduate student at USC’s Marshall School of Business, likening the computer hardware channel to Wall Street’s commodities industry. He envisioned Arbitech as a technology distributor servicing the reseller market with a focus on offering superior service at a lower price, while also creating a corporate culture unique to the industry. Today the Company is a premier full-service, independent, computer products distributor with customers in the U.S. and abroad. Throughout its history, Arbitech has earned widespread recognition and awards, including Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Fastest Growing New Business in the US,” recognition by the Orange County Business Journal as one of the “Best Places to Work in Orange County,” and a winner of the Octane High Tech Innovation Award for “Best Corporate Culture.”

Upon the sale of his membership interests to key management of the Company, Torin stated, “Arbitech is, aside from my family, one of my proudest achievements. Through hard work, dedication and the efforts of the original seven employees to its current staff of roughly 100, Arbitech has withstood the test of time to become the preeminent player in the independent distribution channel. I look forward to watching Arbitech carry on its mission to continued future success.”

Torin received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and earned his MBA in entrepreneurship at USC. He currently serves on multiple boards of directors of corporations and charitable organizations. He also serves as an adjunct professor of clinical entrepreneurship in the business school at USC and has earned the honor of USC Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year.
